Got paid for an item but can't see the money other than in history?

I have been paid for something but cant see my money in my wallet. Ican see it in my history but nothing else why is this? It's been over a week.

Click on any recent transactions and see if they were funded from your balance rather than another funding source?

No the money is mine for something I sent to them. But it's not in my usable funds? But I can see it in my history of transactions with a plus sign next to it.
