From the merchant end, do you receive an accounting of exactly who paid and how much?

I sit on a non-profit board.  We collect funds for registrations for our conferences via PayPal.  We have one person who seems to have total control of the account and we have become increasingly concerned about missing funds.  I know nothing about the receiving part of PayPal (as I just use my personal account to pay).  Does the person in charge of the account receive names of people making payment and amount?  Does the account denote any money transferred from the account and to whom??

Hello @jenm2,

Welcome to our community help forum and thank you for your post!

I see you're looking to review the transaction history in your PayPal account. One can see the details of the payment by logging in to PayPal account and selecting the payment in question, and a full transaction receipt will be provided. Any information we have regarding the payment will be notated there.

You can also view and download your monthly statments which gives a quick overview of totals for payments received, amounts received, payment fees, refunds sent, amounts refunded, refunded fees, payments sent, amounts sent, other debits, other credits, and net amount. Additionally, the beginning and ending amounts for your overall balance, reserve balance, and available balance will be displayed.

I hope this information helps,

Bindu
