EBAY REFUND

HI, I recieved a refund from Ebay and the transaction says completed, but 2 days in it says my balance is $000. WTF? How long does Paypal hold money already in my account from a reputable company like Ebay. Im not a merchant- it was a faulty product return., Feels like a rip off....LD

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.

Completed just mean the refund has been made and passed back to your funding source, it does not mean it is in that funding source as paypal would have no idea how long your bank or card issuer take to process the refund.
(Can vary according to country though).
