Although a more than 10 years customer of paypal is first time I tried to transfer money from bank account to paypal balance. I read the instructions but I didn't notice that the profile name had to be the same as the bank account. My first name in profile of paypal account is 'SPIROS', an abbreviated version of the name in my banks account which is "SPYRIDON", like as "Tom" and "Thomas". My bank informed me that the money sent with instant SEPA, have already reached the paypal account of Deutsche Bank, but my balance not credited. So I followed the instructions and changed the first name in my profile by uploading 2 files from my id card. Is there any problem with my transferred funds? If not, how many days need in order my balance be credited? Thank you

I am sorry to hear you have not yet received your funds into your PayPal account. I know this must be concerning. When adding funds to your PayPal account, your full name on your bank account must match your PayPal account.
If you topped up more than 4 working days ago and the money isn't showing in your PayPal balance, it would mean the transfer was not successful. This would be due to the name not matching at the time of the transfer.
In this case, the money will be returned to your bank within 3 working days. If you don’t see the money after 3 working days, please contact your bank as they may not show it in your account right away.
