Cannot add money

Unusually, an automatic payment has put my paypal balance into arrears by $8.62AUD. I am constantly reminded to add money and any automatd payments that use paypal balance now fail. When I try to add money on the desktop I am simply met with a useless prompt that does not allow me to proceed to complete the task. Via the app I can perform the add money function, enter an amount, select the account to pay from, but then it errors out saying I cannot add USD from my bank accounts. However, I never selected USD and I do not have USD enabled under my currencies.

I have followed the help guide articles for how to ad money which is how I arrive a this situation.

Im quite flabbergasted at how dire Paypal's support is - is this forum really my only avenue to resolution?

Thank you for any assistance.

Ways to clear a negative balance.

1. Transfer funds from your bank account via the add funds function.

2. The quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send a payment via the friends / family option. As long as they don't fund it with a card it should be free.

3. Via a card over the phone with paypal.

4. Buy something and Paypal will normally add the debt to that payment during checkout when you authorise the purchase.
