Cancel transaction after refreshing the Cheesecake Factory website

Hello everyone,

I wanted to buy an e-giftcard at the Cheesecake factory (so no small business) online and paid via PayPal. After 20 minutes on the website nothing happened and I refreshed the website - I know, you shouldn't do it but really nothing happened at all.

Then there was the giftcard still in my shopping basket and in my PayPal account it says, the payment is authorizied and I have to wait till the company processes the buying.

I didn't receive the giftcard and the payment process is still not finished (after more than one day). 

According to my PayPal account it's not possible to cancel this payment but I don't want to buy another giftcard because I need just one.

Can anybody help me, please?

When you pay a company then it is often pending or awaiting authorisation until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.

If they don't process the order and capture that payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment and returns back to your funding source.

Unfortunately I won't need this giftcard anymore in 10 days 😞

So I hope they'll send me this card sooner.
