Can't transfer funds to my bank after a previous big transfer, how to get my money ?

After a successful withdraw from paypal to my bank account (1k €) there seems to be a limit added to my allowed withdraw amount.

I have been waiting a month now to see if it would reset but it still is there, today I was able to withdraw only 140€.

I just tested it and I am not allowed to withdraw ANY (> 0€) amount to my bank now.

 

As all paypal is saying to me is "you can't withdraw that much right now, give a smaller amount" I was wondering will my account stay like this forever, unusable as I cant get the money out to my bank anymore.

 

Any similar experiences or ways to correct this error ?

Hello, @Xonij. I understand completely how this situation would pose a concern. Here's what I can tell you.

The situation you have described indicates your PayPal account is not verified. Verified status is achieved by linking and confirming either a bank account or a credit/debit card (depending on your country of registration).

 

Please check out https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/article/faq444 for more information on how to verify your PayPal account which will remove limits on withdrawing money (as well as sending and receiving money).

 

Please note, PayPal's internal verification process is separate from any identity confirmation process that also may be referred to as verification in some cases.

Hi, I did as you suggested,

went to https://www.paypal.com/fi/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-verify-my-paypal-account-faq444?app=searchAutoC...

and then clicked "follow the necessary steps to complete your profile"

it directed me to my ".paypal.com/myaccount/settings/" but there are no steps on anything what I should do.

I also googled ways to see if my account is verified but all the links bring me to my paypal "settings" tab or my "summary" -pages.

 

I tested withdrawing again, tried a sum of 260€ and I get an error message (translated)

"This amount cannot be withdrawn. It is less than the minimum amount."

 

Only thing I found missing was my passport, I have added it but hasn't changed anything.

I will try adding my debit card next but it is the same bank account I have connected to paypal already, so I don't know if it will fix this.

I need more help.

Hi,

The working link you provided gives me this info (translated):

"Thank you for providing all the necessary information. You're done, and your account is back to normal."

 

It is good to know I have not forgotten anything.

I have now also added my credit card (same bank I had connected before) to this account and it seem to have fixed my problem at least for now, hurray!

 

In the end big thanks to both of you @PayPal_Joy & @PayPal_Michael 

for solving my troubles.
