Can i stop a transaction by removing funds from linked bank account?

Ill keep it short and simple. Sent money from a linked bank account via the friends and family option. Did not receive item and recipient blocked all contact with me. My bank account has not yet been charged. Ive removed all funds from that linked bank account and deleted it from PayPal. Will the recipient still get the funds even though there is nothing in my account?

I understand that you have sent funds as 'friends and family' instead of 'goods and services' for a business order. Please be advised that PayPal does not support any transactions made as 'friends and family' to a buyer. If the funds were sent as 'goods and services', you would have been protected for your purchase under 'buyer protection' and could have filed a dispute to get a full refund.

Since you have removed all the funds from your bank account and you were not been charged on your bank's end, it is most probable that the merchant will not receive the funds on their end as there are on no funds on your account. Still you can get a confirmation on bank's end once on this.
