Can I cancel a payment that someone has not yet accepted?

Neither of us ever used Facebook Pay before. Luckily this is a friend I am dealing with. She tried to send me $40. When I accepted, it sent her $40. Stupid me for not reading the details. We corrected. She sent me the $40. But now I cannot cancel my payment to her. If she just doesn't accept it, will it not go through?

If its showing as unclaimed/pending on your side and she does not claim it then it normally times out and goes back to you at 30 days.
