Blocking e cheque payments

An authorised ticket resale site has advised that the e cheque payment section is blocked as a payment method to me. They’ve advised how to do this on PayPal but none of the options they’ve suggested seem to exist. Please can someone advise how to do this on my account. Thanks

You haven't added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in so unfortunately we can't advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

Click on the settings icon (cog shape next to log out) > seller tools in the pale blue band under the dark blue one > getting paid > payment receiving preferences > update > block the following payments > Pay with eCheque transfer for all website payments except eBay.

Hi, thanks for your reply. These instructions are fine until I get to the 'getting paid section', where there is no 'payment receiving preferences' just an option to manage invoices. I have tried this on my phone and on my laptop and it just doesn't exist?

Do you have a personal or a business account?

I have a personal account. Do I need to convert to a business account before I can access these settings?
