I sent money to my bank, received confirmation email that was successful. Now bank tells me they do not have an arrangement with my bank even though linking the bank card was successful. How do I get a refund and how long will it take.

My account still hasn’t been credited with the money I sent. This has been longer than 2weeks. Tried calling [Removed] but getting “number does not exist”. Please advise. Need money urgently

Did you bother to read the link that deals with withdrawing funds in your country?

No I have not. I don't use PayPal that often. I don't see how this will solve my problem?

Hi, I did read the articles you suggested. My FNB account is already linked to PayPal. I mistakenly transferred money to my Discovery Bank account. I did this after linking my Discovery account. Because I was able to link it, I thought it was OK to transfer.  Why did the system allow me the transfer if there was no arrangement between Discovery Bank and PayPal?

At the end of the day, i mistakenly transferred money to myself but to the wrong account. All I'm asking for is the transfer that money back to PayPal so that I can transfer to my FNB account. This is a lot of money in South Africa considering the exchange rate is 16 ZAR to 1 USD.

Please help

Paypal sends it to the bank you tell them to send it to, once marked completed it means that paypal have 'completed' their part not that the funds are in your bank account.

Whether it completes on the banks side is dependent on whether that bank can accept the funds, if they cannot then they should bounce back to your paypal account balance, so allow 14 working days and if no sign of them contact customer services for a trace?
