Actual refund amount is different

I have received an email saying that I will receive a refund of let's say 3000 SGD money. The amount was also shown in that way in my PayPal activity. However, the amount that actually received in my bank account is less than the stated amount. May I know if there is any reason behind?

I understand your concern about the refund received in your bank account. I would recommend you to login to your PayPal account using desktop or laptop and review the details of the refunded transaction in the activity page. If you see the less refund amount in your bank account only, please check with your bank if they have debited any additional fees/charges in the received amount. You can also contact PayPal Support team through the available contact options at the bottom of PayPal page for additional assistance. Support is also available through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
