If you’re asking about PayPal’s fees, go here.

If you’re asking about a fee called “account fee”, there’s no fee by that name so, you could be dealing with a scammer that is trying to get you to pay them in order to receive a payment, when in reality, they never paid.

Note: It’s free to sign up for a PayPal account (personal or business account). It is free to upgrade from a personal to business account. Just in case a scammer tries to say you need to upgrade or “expand your account” to a business account for a certain amount of money before you can receive a payment. There’s also, no “approval fee” or a “confirmation fee” to pay in order to receive a payment. You also do not pay a fee to resolve account limitations.

PayPal goods and services (commercial transaction) fees are automatically deducted from an incoming payment that’s really been paid so it is not necessary for seller to manually pay commercial transaction fees upfront before receiving payment. Always check your account for the money. Do not only believe emails as they can be spoofed by scammers.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
