At this point I am surprised no media outlets have been made aware of the situation.

How can Paypal continue to sell the cards without warning consumers they will be unable to use them?

It's Christmas for heavens

sake , does no one feel any responsibility to notify the public ?

Update!! I got an email from the Paypal cash company compliance department  saying that they got the documents I sent them and said my card could now be loaded. I went on and amazing it went through!! So relieved!! So apparently if you file a ticket with  copies of your cash card  front and back, your drivers license, and receipt- which I did yesterday- they actually do fix your card!! Everyone should go ahead and do that...hope you all have luck too!! Still mad at Paypal for the lack of concern and I will never buy another one of these cards!!

I was told the documents were not necessary, they just need to create a ticket for you. The woman I spoke to last night ( my 10th call) said she created one, and she gave me a reference number. and she also said that they are just actually a incall center and are just a gateway to process the cards, they don't do anything other than that. She said they can't actually do anything but submit a ticket to Paypal. She said furthermore that the My Cash website is just a splash page for Paypal, it IS actually paypal and to just keep calling them is how I nterpret that statement.

So, call Paypal, insist to speak to someone who is aware of the situation, do not let them tell you they don't know anything about it, and have them create a ticket for you and give you a reference number. Of course, none of that has worked for me, Day 6 with no money...

I called paypal and the representative there called paypal cash and put me on the line with them while she listened- paypal cash opened a  ticket but said I needed to either fax or email the documents to go with the ticket- at the time she said she did not know if I would get my money back....so I was shocked when I got the email from the compliance department at paypal cash saying my pin was OK now and I should be able to load my card. - and even more shocked when it worked and I could load my card.  So I would recommend calling paypal like I did and have them work with paypal cash. Good luck everyone!

What was the email address they used to contact you? I will try sending the documents to them and see if that actually works.

I have contacted paypal directly twice now through my account and have received no response.

I have been with them for over 10 years now due to convenience but it is never convenient to be stolen

from so I am very tempted to move funds from my account with them and close it out entirely.

The lack of respect we are receiving during this problem leaves me with trust issues on continuing

business with them? We should have been able to simply send paypal a copy of the receipt and card

and have our accounts credited the amounts. Afterwhich they should have been the ones to have to deal

with the issues related to their third party site.
