I believe that funpay is a conscientious platform and worth trusting. Have a nice service 100/100
my only form of payment is by PayPal but
unban the account
Bfeely, thanks for your comment.
"most of the comments requesting unbamning of this merchant's account are from traffic directed from the site"
Yes, that's how it is. I wrote about this in my very first message, I do not hide it in any way. In my opinion, this is absolutely correct and normal. They are PayPal users just like you and me.
"Sites like TrustPilot and MyWOT are getting flooded with positive reviews due to the astroturfing campaign run by OP."
This is not true. There are both positive and negative reviews. After each order, our service provides links to TrustPilot and MyWOT. This is absolutely normal and absolutely correct. Moreover, Trustpilot itself asks websites to collect feedback in this way.
"reselling and other TOS violations"
It is possible that some of the services that our site offers actually go against the TOS agreements of some games. However, it is absolutely legal, which was confirmed by the European Union court (I previously provided a link to the court decision, however, it was removed by the moderators of this forum. I can send it to you in a private message if you are interested.)
A lot of companies that use PayPal have a lot of different disputes (for example, patents disputes like Apple) and all this is not in the competence of PayPal.
"violations of the AUP"
There is no direct ban on our activities in PayPal AUP. All our competitors use PayPal absolutely freely and without any problems. If the AUP had such a ban, we would not even think of connecting PayPal on our website.
It would be nice if PayPal would clarify its position and list this activity as prohibited in its AUP, but so far this has not been the case, so the position of PayPal remains unclear to us.
In reply to OP, please remember PayPal is a US-based entity, and so are many of the game platforms. In addition, all indications show that you are in Russia, which is not on good terms in any way with the EU. It also appears that nothing in this ruling means that service providers have to honor a transfer of accounts or in-game currency, in which case players caught selling such items can still risk their accounts being banned. It appears said ruling is still under appeal, and does not apply to customers in the USA or the sanctioned country Russia. Whether or not competitors are banned is not at all relevant to your case.
Funpay is a wonderful website, I have used their services for the past 2-3 years without any problems. The addition of PayPal as a payment method will be unbelievably helpful and make it much more popular in the North America, currently we can only deposit with crypto, as other card providers are declined with VISA from North America
