How long does it take for a transaction to show?

I allowed Ebay to withdraw payments from PayPal and nothing has shown in my Paypal account.  My invoice date was 8/31 and my payment dated was 9/15.  My Ebay account shows that it was paid but my PayPal account shows no transactions.  How long does it take for an automatic payment to show up in my PayPal account? 

Every other transaction I've had was instantaneous.

Normally, it's instant.

Sometimes there's  Paypal glitch and it takes 3 days.

I've never heard of it taking this long.

What were the ebay payments for?

Funny how shortly after I posted my problem Paypal sent the money to Ebay and it was posted in my PayPal account.

My transaction is showing but won't go through it has been pending for a week. The payment was over 70$. Any information will be helpful thanks.

Takes about two weeks from billing till the money is removed.  Sometimes it will take a few days extra.
