How do I pay with credit card and not bank account

Hello,

I am a small business owner and do not always have cash in my bank, as I rely mostly on my business credit cards to keep going. However paypal makes me pay with my bank account even though I have credit cards set up. Whenever I make a payment it tells me "You can not use credit card for this payment."

Also, when I try to remove my bank info from my page, it tells me "You can not remove bank information because there is a pending payment." When there never is actually any pending.

Anyone have a solution?

I am having the same problem. I called the service number, and they told me to continue on through the payment process, and I would come to a part where I get to choose if I want to use the credit card. It doesn't happen. It says it's planing to use my bank account. If I try to unselect that box, It simply adds it back. There is a point where it says I can use my credit card if I am a guest. I'm not a guest. Got a notice this week congratulating me on my ten years with paypal..

This doesn't need to be this difficult to do. My credit card has been tied to my account for ten years. I'm not trying to use a credit card I got yesterday or anything like that.

This company could perform better if greed wasn't the only motivating factor. What I want to do would probably work like a charm, if it was an E-bay credit card.

Creditcarduser:

I finally figured out how to do this. It's easy to do once you learn how, but shouldn't be so difficult to figure out. I have done it 3 times since my last post. Here are the steps. Follow them, even if it seems wrong, and it will work. You begin at the Pay for it now, or pay for it block. Click that one.

Review your purchase page. Lower right of page , click dot so it uses Paypal - visa , mastercard, etc. Click contimue box. Next page is log in to paypal. Do that page as you normally do. Click "log in" block. Next Page you will see Payment method. To the immediate right in center of page is a yellow pencil, and Change written in Blue. Click the Blue Change. Page opens and normally the black dot is in the immediate transfer from bank account. Click on the Credit Card dot, which removes the dot from the bank account and dots the credit card. It should be the credit card you normally use as backup. Click on next, or confirm. Next page confirms the credit card choice and you're through.

I don't know if everyone else thinks it's so easy they don't respond or what. Reading the questions, I see people frequently have the same prob. that we did. Good Luck. If something **bleep**s up, add a new post , and I'll try to help.
