I tried to make a purchase using Paypal and during the payment process I was asked to provide either a credit or debit card number. Why do they want that information----I have enough money in the Paypal account to pay for the purchase. It has been a few years since I used the account but was never asked for information like that before. It would be easier just to go direct to who I'm buying from with the card. Or, maybe I'm missing something here but I thought paypal was so you didn't have to use cards. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
