hi all, im looking at selling a matchworn football shirt abroad but im windering if im protected as ive heard stories of buyers claiming money back etc after they have received the item therefore getting their money back and the shirt. As the seller is there any way i can prevent this or have any dicuments etc that confirm i have posted the shirt etc . in short am i fully covered by paypal if the buyer claims a false chargeback etc after he has received the goods to get his money back?.... im sending abroad if that makes any difference. any help is greatly appreciated 😉

My personal advice is if it is a pricey item then sell UK only as you have more protection with the postal service.
If the buyer does not get the item you have to of course refund but to prove a false claim of non receipt you have to prove signed delivery of the item to the buyer and that can be tricky to some countries.
Nothing is ever 100% safe when you are selling, all you can do is minimise the risks.
Advice is voluntary.
