Could somebody clarify what protection Paypal offer when sending payments? I am looking to book a boat tour in Lisbon in June of this year and need to pay a deposit to secure the booking. The operator has said I can use Paypal to send the deposit. I know that Paypal offers security if you buy goods and they don't arrive as expected but what about services such as this? Let's say, worst case scenario, I arrive in Lisbon in June and there is no boat? Have I got any security with Paypal? I have done quite a bit of research on this tour operator and pretty confident they're legitimate but i am essentially sending money to someone I have never met so juts wondering if I get an added layer of security with Paypal? Thanks in advance!
