Withdrawal pending

Hi. I recently tried to withdraw money from my paypal account to my bank but after checking I found that it says iys pending. I've never had this problem before but was counting on the money to pay for petrol. Any advice?

Can take from 2-24 hours unless you get the email to say it has been subject to a random security 72 hour hold.

But you are right in that most times it goes in more quickly.
