I'm really confused. I bought some shoes from topshop 4 days ago via paypal but with my CC which is linked to my paypal. I sold some things on ebay and was paid for them yesterday. Because the shoes got dispatched today my actual card was charged today. I have been charged via my paypal balance (meaning the money i got from ebay has actually gone towards the shoes) and i've been charged on my CC
I dont understand and customer services is ridiculously hard to get through to. I just want to talk to someone!
HELP!

Hi Dinoroar,
Thank you for posting in our Community a apologize that you were not able to reach our customer service. I can only provide general information here but I think that I have a good idea of what happened with the information you provided.
It sounds as if you placed an order with Topshop, Topshop needs to approve the order before we can complete the payment. When an order is placed a reserve for the amount of the payment is placed ion the funding source available. If you did not have a PayPal balance this means that we would reserve that amount on your card. When the actual payment went through you had sufficient balance so we would release the reserve on the card and u8se the PayPal balance for the payment. The release of the reserve from the card cab take up to 5 days. So the money will be added back to your card within 5 days as we used the PayPal balance for the payment :). As the dates were showing from the day that the order was accepted it looks as if the money was taken from your card today but the money will be send back. If you would want more information please contact us on Twitter : @AskPayPal, Facebook UK or through the contact us page. We would be happy to help you further if needed.
I hope this information helps.
Dian
