I figured i would post this in the UK section since gumtree is also available in the UK. I'm an Aussie, buying a used GPU off gumtree. If this is the wrong forum, i do apologize, since i am unsure of where the paypal australian community is
I was just wondering, if i paid via paypal , asked for an invoice of the transaction , sent money as goods, would i be protected if the seller decides to pull a fast one on me?
Should i ask the seller to list the GPU on ebay?

If you paid a money request or invoice OR paid via send money goods then you would have paypal buyer protection.
BUT paypal buyer protection is not a 100% guarantee that nothing will go wrong so you need to go read up on it so you can risk assess your transaction.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
