My sales payment have suddenly become pending.

I have used paypal for many yrs now.

All of a sudden my payments are showing as pending.

I would like to know that the payment has gone through before sending the item.

I have never had any problems with my account.

I have 100% positive ebay feedback on over 1400 items.

Anybody know?

The old email address is registered to my paypal account.

I have been accepting payments from about 10 yrs ago on this address and was still working fine last week.

Go and find the transaction in your “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > don't fill in anything just scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes? If so then it would have been wrong on your finished auctions so come back for more advice.

The email address link for payment is an email address I used many yrs ago.

There is not an actual email address with this name I have just always continued to use it. This is the email that has always been linked to my paypal and payments have always gone through fine until a few days ago

The message I get when looking at my item is Payment was initiated on 04 Mar, 2015 and is being processed through PayPal.

When I click on

View PayPal transaction

I am sent to my paypal correctly but no payment for the items is shown.

THAT IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN OLD EMAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR AUCTION SO THE BUYERS ARE PAYING TO THAT EMAIL ADDRESS SO...............................

 

Firstly can you add that email addy to your paypal account, as you can have up to 8 on the one account.
If you can add and verify it then the payments should come through.

If not then you need to contact your buyers and ask them to see what it says in there paypal accounts either:

1. Unclaimed with a cancel option.
2. Unclaimed.
3 Completed.

If its:
Unclaimed with a cancel option.

Then ask them to cancel the payment but tell them that it will take a few days to go back to their funding source if they funded their original payment with a debit or credit card. Then get them to use the "send money" > Goods option and pay to your email address. Tell them DO NOT use the ebay option or it will direct them to ebay checkout and the same thing will happen.

Unclaimed.

If there is no cancel option then the buyer will get their money back automatically 30 days after paying if it remains unclaimed. If it changes to completed they need to come here for advice. You will need to sort out between you if you want to still go ahead with the sale or cancel it.

Completed.

If its completed then come back for more advice.

Then next time you list an item for sale change the email addy during the listing process and check everytime.

Also to help you sort things with your buyers you can pull their contact info if its an ebay transaction. Go to advanced search top of ebay pages > contact member left column > fill in the details and ebay will send you an email with their telephone number.

I still cannot send any items out as payments are still pending.

I have never changed anything on my account for yrs.

Not sure what to do.

I cant send items as the money is not there.

What is going on?

Hi Intratas,

 

I am sorry to hear that this is still ongoing for you and that the phone service was not as expected. This would be case where we have to look into it further in order to resolve it. It does seem like there is something wrong with the email address as you are no longer receiving payments. I would advise to contact us by Twitter or Facebook. I am sure we can help to get this resolved for you there so that you will receive all of the payments again and can send the items.
