Money sent to me not recieved

Have you bought anything and paid for it via paypal since the payment should have gone in??
The reason i ask is that if you have funds in your paypal balance and then buy something then paypal will always take from those funds (as that is now the default funding source), rather than from your normal funding source eg bank account or card.
To check go and click on the word "details" next to any recent paypal buying transaction and see if they were funded from your paypal balance payment rather than your normal funding source.
Advice is voluntary.

hi there it was an issue my friends end last time but its happened again...there is nothing owed out on my account its in balance so im expecting £40...she even has a confirmation email...this time i received no text. she sent it to my mobile number and ive checked her confirmation email and its correct on there. she was in the usa when she sent it, wud that cause a delay?? thanks, l

also what if this was her first time using paypal does she have to be verified or something (Im not sure if she is i have sent her a message to ask her this). thanks

Hi laurasnodden,
It sounds like there was an issue with the payment coming through and I don't think it was due to your friends account. On the day you posted we had an issue where some payments were delayed in reaching PayPal accounts. They did however reach the accounts, it just took a little longer than normal. I think this may have been the issue.
If you have not received the payment as of yet please let us know.

I have received a payment and it has come up in my summary that I have to accept or decline it. If i click on accept then it states that i must verify my account. When i click on this it shows a page where all the things i need to do to verify my account have been ticked and there is nothing else to click on except a cancel button and then I am back on my summary still needing to accept the payment.
I am just going round and round in circles, any ideas?
