Cannot send money between verified accounts?

Hello! For some reason, even though both accounts are verified, I am not able to send money right now. I have made purchases online and that has worked but I received an invoice via email and whenever I sign in after clicking "Pay Now" it tells me that "We can't send payments right now" but does not in any way explain why. I don't know how to solve this and I need to send this money ASAP!

Welcome to the Community Forum! Very sorry to hear about the payment issues you've been experiencing.

 

When a payment is being stopped, it can be for a number of different reasons. Most commonly, payments can be stopped either by the issuer of the card you are trying to use (if you are using a card), or by our security system.

 

I would advise contacting your card issuer or bank and just ensuring that there are no issues on their side, and that the funding source you're using is active and ready to use with PayPal. If you're still unable to complete the payment, I'd recommend contacting Customer Support directly, as we don't have access to view your account details from here.
