I paid for an item but somehow paypal set an echeque, I was reading other posts here and have noticed that once the echeque is canccelled the original payment will still be taken out.
If i get the seller to cancel the echeque, and i send them a new payment does this mean my money will be taken out twice, and the seller will need to refund the first echeque payment?

Hey Puifon,
Welcome to the Community!
Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. It can be quite confusing when something like this happens.
If an echeque has been cancelled, the funds are still debited from your bank account. If you are trying to send another payment to your seller, you could try and select a debit/credit card when funding the payment and that should leave your bank instantly.
You could be charged twice temporarily until the funds from the echeck complete processing, then the funds will be available in your PayPal balance. You can then withdraw the funds straight back to your bank account when they are available.
I hope this helps.
David.
