Hi,
I am looking to set up virtual terminal for a business account. We have three or four employees who will need to be able to process transactions simultaneously using it. I presume this is possible, if so where would I find the setup process?
Many thanks
George

Hi Berryman,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!
Virtual Terminal allows you to accept credit and debit card payments over the phone, by fax or mail orders.
It's like a card swipe machine in retail outlets, but all done online via PayPal, and without the need for any additional equipment. It allows you to expand your business off the internet, or take payments even if you don't have a website. Virtual Terminal is available either as part of Website Payments Pro or as a separate solution.
Here's how it works:
- Customer orders by phone, fax or mail with a debit or credit card.
- You enter the customer's card and address details into Virtual Terminal.
- PayPal processes the card payment and you get paid.
- Virtual Terminal also automatically creates a custom packaging slip for you to include with the dispatched product if required.
- Virtual Terminal is also pre-integrated with PayPal's reporting systems, giving you a clear view of transaction history.
Here's how to apply for Virtual Terminal:
- Go to www.paypal.com/uk
- Click Business near the top of the page and then select All business solutions from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page under 'More ways to get paid', click Get paid over the phone.
- Click Get started.
We'll email you in approximately 2 days to let you know if your application was approved.
