I have a view cart button on my site and it just stopped working today for some reason, I didn't change anything or do anything to site, it just stopped working, very strange.
When you click on it you get this error:
"Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again."
So I remade the button and tried with the stock button I just copied and pasted the code into my html and still same problem, anyone know what could be the reason???
I have a view cart button on another site and it is working fine.
Please help.

Unfortunately we need to see an example and look at your web page with the code. As there can be various reasons, without actually seeing what is going on, it's just a guess.

Ok here is the link it is at the bottom of page.
Today I tested it and it worked...the first time but then it doesn't not work when you try to click it the second, third, fourth, etc. It is the same error about :"Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again."
I re-created the view cart button (with just the stock code) and tried it on a few test pages and it is doing the same it works the first time, but not the second, third, etc...
Tested it in 3 browsers and it is doing the same thing
Thanks.

Thanks, it helps to see the code and what's happening. Else, you're like a car mechanic trying to fix a car thru email.
What I would suggest is not using the non-encrypted version of the View Cart code. You can go back and generate the code again, this time when the code is displayed, look for the "remove protection" link. Click on that link and the code will be redisplayed. You don't really need "encrypted" code for a View Cart item button. Many HTML Editors don't play well with "encrypted" code. They can change a character or add a space which causes the code to fail.
Here's another tip:
** After you have made your changes to your item button code, be sure to delete your web browser's cookies, temp files and history before testing the changes. This ensures a clean start. Delete the browser's cookies, temp files and history, then close the browser, reopen it and then test your code.

Thank you that worked perfectly, it works tested in on different pages etc. Didn't post to live site yet, i am still doing some editing to site, will try it there tomorrow.
BUT i have one question is it ok to have the view cart button not be encrypted? is it safe for my customers and there info? and is it safe for me?
thanks

Yes, it's safe. We work with unencrypted code all the time. The View Cart is very simple as it has only one function. There's really nothing to tamper with.
