Postal Overide

Until two weeks ago we had three items on which we had enabled a postal over-ride - so that they did not incur postal charges. Then that changed and I cannot figure out why. 

However, when I go to the Postage Calculations page, the box at the bottom of the screen which, when checked, will allow transaction-based postage values to override the profile postage settings listed above will not hold the check when I click on it. Is this likely to be the problem? If so, how can I make it accept the selction? I notice there is also the message against it : if profile settings are enabled - I am not sure where I check if the profile settings are enabled although immediately below the postal tariff bands, in small print it states "Miscellaneous - Allow transaction-based delivery settings to override profile settings (Optional)."

Can anyone help on this?

Have noticed the same problem. Nothing has changed on my website as I have all the postage overrides set in HTML but the checkbox won't stayed checked. Have sent email to Paypal, but may need to call them. Has anyone else had anything back on this problem?

Hi there

Yes, I rang Paypal in the end and got some very helpful advice.

These were the two things we tried:

1. Check the box and move off the page WITHOUT SAVING IT. If that doesn't work (and it didn't for us) then:

2. select the button 'Clear Settings'. You may then have to re-enter your postal tariffs but the postage overide box can now be checked and saved.

We were told it was due to some updating done on the Paypal site that had resulted in this problem with the poistal overide check box.
