Hi. When a customer completes the Express checkout form and hits the pay button on our website to go to the PayPal payment page, the primary payment option is "Log in to PayPal " with "Check out as guest" as a secondary option further down. It used to be the case that the customer was given the option to pay by credit card as the primary option.
We need card payments to be the primary option as most of our customers do not have PayPal accounts and it is causing confusion with several payments not being completed because customers think they have to have a PayPal account to complete a payment.
How can I get back to the way it used to be?
Thanks.
BTW, we are in the UK, in case there are differences in the set up between the US and UK

This is the reply I got from PayPal:
In regards to having the guest checkout show as the first option on your checkout this couldn’t be possible on the standard PayPal checkout, however we do have a product in which allows you to customise your checkout page which is our PayPal payments Pro product.
We now offer an additional option of integrating Website Payments Pro called ‘Hosted Solution’. This is PayPal’s advanced payment solution for higher volumes.
This integration option offers you the ability to customise your buyer checkout experience while PayPal hosts the payment page, helping you fulfil your major requirements around PCI Compliance. Customers meanwhile enjoy a seamless buying experience which creates the impression that they remain on your website throughout.
The main features and benefits of PayPal’s ‘Website Payments Pro Hosted Solution’ are:
• Customisation: The hosted page is fully customisable allowing you to adapt the colour, logo and checkout design.
• 3-D Secure: This is an added layer of advanced fraud filters for online payments. Buyer authentication during checkout helps a merchant’s business by reducing chargebacks.
All UK Website Payments Pro customers now have two integration options; Pro API or ‘Hosted Solution’.
