I am planning on having my items drop-shipped. My wholesaler goes by weight and destination (I am only using paypal for payment) I have figured out how to set up shipping according to weight but I only have 5 spots to get my items from 1-100 lbs.; I cant charge $8.42  for items that are 1-5 lbs when a 1lb. item would be $6.41. I've contacted everyone that I can...Will someone please explain the shipping??? Do I need to use another option for payment options? If so then what is the best option? Please HELP Smiley Frustrated

With Payments Standard there are only 5 ranges in your account profile setup, that's it.  There are shipping override HTML variables that you can use in your individual item button code for exceptions to your shipping table calculations, this works great for some scenarios.  If you're into working with coding and/scripting, you can create your own mini-cart whereas all the shipping calculations are done on your web site or page first, then the end results are sent to PayPal.   You may also want to check out this desktop guide, it has a ton of info:

If all of this sounds a bit much, then go with a 3rd party shopping cart that has the features shipping featues you need.  Third party cards do all the work, then send the end results to PayPal for checkout, same as a mini-cart would.  For example, here's one 3rd party cart that's easy to work with:  http://www.e-junkie.com/
