Accepting credit cards

Hi

I've just set up a website and added the paypal buy now buttons.Have been trying to test the "I don't have a paypal account" option and using a credit/debit card instead (Visa).

It all appears to work OK up to the point of adding the credit card information. Each time it comes back with a message "

The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number."

I've tried using different cards, even asking friends to try, but no luck

To add the button to the site, I set it up in my Paypal profile and copied the HTML code onto my webpage.

Anyone any idea's ?

I've just sorted this out with help from Paypal Tech support. The problem was caused because I had not set the email address I used when setting up the payment buttons to "primary" and not confirmed the email address.

A simple little glitch caused by the operator (me !)
