Hi there Jacqkach,
If you post an item to your buyer and the item is damaged in transit, you may be required to initiate a claim to get a refund through your postal company. This woud only be in the event of the item being damaged by the postal company in transit.
If your buyer is to open a dispute on this transaction through their PayPal account, they may be eligible for a full refund on the transaction as they have received an item that is damaged.
I hope this helps,
David.

the parcel remains the SELLERS responsibility until it has been signed for or positive feedback has been left> Paypal will always refund the buyer for a broken item> So wrap things well and post with signature required.
