accidentally unclaimed payment

Hey all,

On 21.01.2018, I sold a guitar on eBay for a price of £200. The buyer payed with PayPal.

I haven't noticed that in the end of the notification of payment email it said "Our records indicate that this email address is unconfirmed. In order to receive these funds, you must first confirm your email address". In the next month I was concerned with other things and reminder emails from PayPal got lost in my inbox.

Finally, on February 27 I got an email saying that my payment was returned to the buyer because I haven't confirmed my email address. I contacted the buyer via email and eBay but he doesn't respond to any of my messages.

What should I do?

Thanks,

-Matan

Sorry not a lot you can do, you could try sending them a money request but you can't force them to pay again.

If you don't claim funds by day 30 then they are returned to the buyer unfortunately.
