PayPal balance pending, cannot access funds

I've sold a few items on eBay recently as I've needed quick cash to fix my car - payments have cleared from buyers end but pending in my PayPal account and have been for almost a week now. When will I be able to access the money? I charged postage on eBay and will be needing to post the items asap. Feeling frustrated as I could have sold them on gumtree or facebook market place free and faster.

You would have been subjected to either Ebays OR Paypals new seller hold whereever you sold the items.

This is the new seller hold that every single seller on Ebay has or will go through.
Normally for the Ebay hold funds are released when tracking shows the item as delivered + 3 days if you use Ebay / paypal postage.

Other than that you wait 21 days. If you don't post promptly and start to get neg feedback or disputes for non receipt of item then your selling days may be short.
