No paypal balance

Hi all.

I was wondering if anyone can help me, I have recently sold items on eBay, the payment has been received into my eBay account, but, I haven't received any payment in my paypal account, I have checked that everything is correctly linked from eBay to paypal, still no transaction history.

It is becoming a concern, I will not post the item until I have received payment into my paypal account, or confirmed into my paypal account, but, this is also reflecting on me as a seller, I have informed the buyer that the payment should be displayed as unclaimed in this account.

Any help would be grateful so I can deal with this.

Regards Lee

Hi Lee, your situation does sound a little confusing. I would suggest that you contact your buyer, and ask them what e-mail address they received from you/eBay to send payment to. You can also check this yourself by going in to your eBay and finding the item you sold and clicking on ‘Sell a similar item' under 'More Actions'. Then go to the section 'Decide how you'd like to be paid', which displays the email address where the payment was sent.

You could suggest to your buyer that they cancel the payment, if it is “Unclaimed”. You could then send them an invoice from your PayPal account. To use your PayPal account to send an invoice, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account at www.paypal.co.uk
2. Click on ‘Request Money’ near the top of the page.
3. You can choose to ‘Create an Invoice’ by clicking on this option near the top of the page.
4. Choose ‘New Invoice’ from the ‘Select Template’ drop down list and click ‘Continue’ to start using the invoice tool.
5. Complete the form with the requested information and click ‘Continue’.
6. Review the confirmation screen and click ‘Send Invoice’.

Once your buyer pays you, the money will appear in your PayPal account balance.
