I posted a free auction-listing, 0.99 start and finally sold 1.44 pounds and freight was 0.99 pound. Ebay charges 0.14 for final fee and I got gross 2.43 in my PAYPAL account but the balance was 2.15?
How does PAYPAL charge?
1.
1.44- 0.14 =1.3 1.3 * (100%-3.4%)= 1.2558 1.2558-0.2+0.99=2.0458
2.
1.44- 0.14 =1.3 1.3-0.2=1.1 1.1*(100%-3.4%)=1.0626 1.0626-0.2+0.99=1.85
3.
1.44+0.99=2.43 2.43*10%=0.243 2.43-0.243=2.187 2.187*(100%-3.4%)=2.11 2.11-0.2=1.99
4.
1.44+0.99=2.43 2.43*10%=0.243 2.43-0.243=2.187 2.187-0.2=1.987 1.987*(100%-3.4%)=1.92
???????
Thanks very much!!!!!!!

Hey there,
You got charged the regular fee of 3.4% + 20p.
So £2.43 * .034 = .082 + .2 = £0.28
£2.43 - .28 = £2.15
I hope this clears things up
