I sold an item on ebay and was waiting for 2 days for payment. Before I was paid, as I was wrapping other stuff up to post, I wrapped this item up also but did not post it. When the payment came through the name and address on ebay were totally different to when I wrapped up the item. However, the payment name on my paypal account is in the original name. The email from paypal confirming the payment had the original name as the payer but the confirmed address as the different name and address. I have sent the buyer a message asking for address confirmation but have had no reply. What should I do now?
For seller protection you have to send to the paypal address, however first i would confirm with the buyer. You can get his tel number on ebay via advanced search top of ebay pages > contact member left column > fill in the details and ebay will send you their tel number and they yours.

Thanks didn't know you could do that. I have now got contact info but name is different on there as well! Now totally confused! I'll phone them later to try and sort it all out.
