I'm a buyer and the payment says unclaimed in PayPal. I've emailed the seller back and forth regarding them accepting payment but they say they will just wait till the payment clears before sending my item! Obviously read all the posts from others as sellers and see that they sent items even tho they were waiting for payment to clear. Why should I wait? I sent the money!

Unclaimed normally is because the seller has given you an incorrect ppal email address,  has a spelling mistake somewhere

It's an eBay item minty, there nothing I can do my end, the seller seems to think if they wait it will clear eventually! But in the meantime I'm left waiting for my item. What do I do in my position? It's not a small amount either, 200 quid!

I could cancel the payment as its still unclaimed but that would mean missing out on my purchase!

If you have an option to cancel it you could it would take a few days to come back to you

Then you could ask the seller to send you an invoice?

If so remember to choose the "goods" option

The payments not going anywhere because the email its been sent to is not associated with the seller or anyone else it wont clear

Tell the seller to do this;

Go to their Ebay sold page find the transaction and click sell similar

Scroll down the page and double check their ppal email address is correct without any spelling mistakes

If its incorrect tell them to add the correct email address to their ppal as its too late  to change on the ended listing and watch and see if the money comes through

Dont pay again as the same thing will happen
