Good afternoon,
I've sold an item on ebay and within seconds of the buyer winning the auction and paying, they sent me a message via ebay asking for the item to be sent to a completely different address. This buyer only has a feedback score of 2 (both feedback were from 2016) which is causing alarm bells in my head.
I've contacted eBay and they say that as the buyer contacted me via their messaging system and requested I send the item to another address, should anything go wrong, they will close any case that is opened in my favour. However, I know this isn't the case with PayPal, is it?
How should I go about this as the buyer is waiting for a response from me.
