Provide a clear description with plently of good quality photos. Imagine yourself as a buyer who knows nothing about the item you are selling and describe it so well they know exactly what you are offering and what they will be receiving. This will help prevent returns and escalation of buyer cases on "item not as described."
I know what you mean, but I hope I have described my listings good enough for people to understand what I'm offering, so I added a link for a how to page.
I provide good pics with a description, part from the manufacturer and part from personal use / observation, but get buyers that do not bother to read the title, read the description, and or don't even look at the pics and complain because the buyer received something not as expected. I sent one buyer pages from Amazon with an identical item and told him Amazon must have got it wrong too.
