what's trying to charge PayPal card?

I keep getting notifications on my phone saying that their wasn't enough in my PayPal balance so try transactions again or add funds, but I'm unsure of what is even trying to charge me. As I don't see pending payments or any denied payments? How can I find out what's trying to charge me without adding money to my card??

Hello @saltedkittens04

Thanks for joining the PayPal Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the notifications that recent unrecognized transactions were unable to go through. I know how scary that can be. If the transactions do not show when you log into your PayPal account, that could mean they were processed as a guest checkout. I recommend reaching out to our Customer Support teams for assistance looking into these transactions to determine if they were real and need to be reported as unauthorized. You reach Customer Support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal webpage.

I hope this helps you figure out what happened!

thats not what they were asking at all. you werent helpfull at all. why cant the app just show me who is trying to charge my account, like cash app does? cash app tells me exactly who tried to pull money and how much. all paypal tells you is there wasnt enough money for some transaction.

i cannot believe that people like you keep being hired for these jobs. this is a LONG standing issue with paypal that has hundreds of forum complaints. do your f*ing job and just tell us how to resolve the issue, don't copy+paste some response a chatbot should be ashamed of.

I keep getting notifications that I have insufficient funds for a transaction on my PayPal card. The thing is, I haven't used it in a while and the only transaction I used it for recently shows as processed. Please advise how to find out what this recurring charge that keeps trying to hit my card is??? As it has been denied I cannot find it in my history. I need to find out if it is legit or if my account is being compromised. I really hope that a live human is replying to this...
