fraudulent email reportedly from letterboxd.com ??

Hello

had an email from a company called letterboxd.com advising about my 14 day free trial and stating that I will then be charged £49.00 - have no idea what this is and my online security is flagging the "cancel your subscription" button as -Deceptive site ahead

Attackers on blackpennew.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like  

any advice ? I like to contact paypal regarding this ?

Haven't seen anything from PayPal yet but I notified them and Letterboxd

Hi I also have received an email from Letterboxd today saying I subscribed and they will take £49 yearly through PayPal. I believe it's a scam as I've checked my PayPal account and I've never used Letterboxd.

I've just received the exact same email. I'm in the UK as well. I'm going to forward it on to PayPal phishing

Hi all, I've just received the exact same email from a site called Letterboxd. Never even heard of them. I assume the best route is just to delete the email and forget about it, any ideas? Cheers

I just had email thanking me for signing up to letterboxd. And that after 14 day trial,  I will be charged £49 through my PayPal account. 

Of course I haven't signed up , never even heard of them. There is a link to click on and cancel subscription. 

But after checking on internet,  it seems that to cancel they ask for your bank details etc, so it is definitely a scam.

Just ignore it and delete it. I have also forwarded the email to PayPal and reported it.

Just received an email from Letterboxd look really genuine to say my subscriptions ends in 14 days and then £49 will be taken from my account each month

I recieved an e mail from letterboxd subscription tv service today ( I am in the UK). Never heard of them & I have not subscribed to anything from them. States there is a free trial, then payment via paypal of £49.

I've had an email from Letterboxd saying that I've signed up and they will automatically take money from my PayPal account for subscription after 14 days. I haven't signed up to anything?
