I received an email from [removed] is that a legit email from PayPal? Email stated that buyer needed to deposit an extra $200 because he sent it to a business not personal and that his deposit won be refunded. I see nothing on my account about this transaction.

Hello @taffard,
Congratulations on your first post in the Community!
I'm sorry to hear that you received an email stating the buyer needs to pay extra for you to receive a payment. This information is incorrect, and the email was not from PayPal. PayPal will never require an upfront fee to receive a payment. A great Help Center article you can learn more about common scams is: What are common scams and how do I spot them? This is a US Help Center article, but the information applies to everyone. I also suggest checking out this article on how to determine if an email is from PayPal.
I hope this information answers your question about the email being from PayPal!
