I believe that they use some kind of automatic monitoring or AI whose decisions no one will ever cancel, because no one knows the reasons, this is a black box. It cannot be a room with monkeys throwing darts. It can't?

I have had my account temporarily restricted.
Had a paypal well over 15 years. No reasons offered, no emails. I found out through the paypal app but not the website. I even have had a paid on time Paypal credit card for four years. WTF Paypal????
I simply don't trust Paypal anymore. I have heard too many horror stories. That is MY MONEY.
Changing my Payment options on all my transactions, paying off the card in full and never touching you again.
I am not expecting a fix. I have seen enough.

Normally funds are returned as long as no disputes are opened in those 180 days and as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.
Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

How can you get your "permanently limited account" unlocked due to a possible error if customer service won't or is not able to disclose the reason for why it's being limited? I guess I'm wondering how they'd even come to the conclusion of a possible error if they won't even look into the Review team's decision to Limit the account in the first place. My account was randomly labeled as permanently limited about a month ago and have talked to two different customer service reps with both telling me there was nothing they could attempt to do to remedy this issue. They both said they had zero info/insight as to why my account was limited and had zero access into getting ahold of a reason to explain the Review team's decision and that this decision is indeed permanent and could not be reversed. So weird that Paypal cut's out user's with absolutely no attempt to offer clarity on these decisions...
