Unable to send money to my us account .

i migrated to the us of last year and i got some money in my paypal account. i updated the phone number on my account because i no longer used it once i did that paypal locked me out of my account for a day saying it didnt notice me , i eventually got back in but was unable to send any more its gave me error couldnt verify identity. i have the email ik the phone number for the number every thing for the account but it still wont give me the right to send any money. i tried calling paypal they are saying i should refund the money back to the merchant n have them send it again but i dont want to do that because it was a sale i made and i dont think they would refund me back after receving the product. how can i fix this?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.
