Think I got scammed

Hello I sent the money to someone, the person asked to send the money family and friend so she can send me the item, but she just transfered the money I sent to her bank account and didnt want to refund me (the person told me she's from the US but she's from the philippines) what can I do ? can I get a refund from paypal ?

I see you're looking to get a refund for your recent transaction. Friends and family payment option is not intended for the purchase of goods or services from sellers. These payments are not covered under PayPal Purchase Protection and therefore cannot be disputed. When there's a problem with friends and family payment, we strongly encourage the sender and recipient to work together toward a resolution. If a resolution can't be met and you paid via card or bank, you may want to reach out to your financial institution to seek other dispute options.

To avoid such issues in the future and to avail PayPal's purchase protection, always send your payment as Goods & Service (instead of friends & Family). So if you have any issue with the transaction, you can dispute it with PayPal to help you with a refund if eligible.
