. Please help me understand. I think I’m being scammed

I file a dispute cause I couldn’t get any response from the saler. The day after I file the dispute I get an email from the saler saying I’ll get tracking info when it ships which was almost two weeks after I made the purchase. I still have not received anything else. But they have PayPal a tracking number and said it was shipped on the 25th of January. I still haven’t received anything and still no response when I try and email them.

This happened to me too. A seller on Facebook Marketplace scammed me and stole my money. I ordered fruit from him for $30 and he said he would send me tracking number next day, but he didn’t and wouldn’t respond to my messages anymore. I filed a claim to the Resolution Center but they closed it because they said it wasn’t eligible for buyers protection because the seller requested payment labeled as donation. 😒 Not sure what to do. Maybe I’ll file a dispute with the bank. I don’t know if reporting to police would do any good.

Escalate to a claim if you have not already done so.

Then if the claim is closed because seller provides either a fake tracking number or item does not arrive then post back for more advice.
