Pending transaction problem

I got a romance scam recently. Two of the friend and family transactions to the scammer are still pending. Each of them goes to two different PayPal accounts. I understand that Paypal's policy prohibits me from cancelling the transaction on this side. However, I don't want to lose more money to the scammer. It is the holiday season, and almost no agents pick up the phone. The Paypal AI assistance is useless. Please help me with the problem.

Paypal can't cancel processing payments. 

If you funded those payments via a bank account then contact your bank and see if they can stop them for you.
